Our Class Trip 🚌

Yesterday, we had an amazing day out at the Riverside Museum. We had a trip filled with some great activities and we learned a lot of interesting facts about not only different vehicles throughout time but also people who help us.
When we arrived, we had our snack out in the sunshine before completing a tour of the museum. We enjoyed looking at the old police car, fire engine and walking up and down the a cobbled Main Street from the past. To make it even more exciting, we were given a quiz to complete, which involved us following clues to find different Star Wars Lego figures around the museum.
We ate lunch outside as it was such a lovely day and then completed a People Who Help Us workshop which tied in perfectly with our topic. We learned about police cars, fire engines and ambulances from the past and how these vehicles/job roles have changed or stayed the same nowadays. We loved using the different equipment and fixing emergency situations with what we had learned. To finish off our day, we made our own lollipop sticks to help people safely cross the road.
It’s safe to say we were very tired on the bus back after busy day but can’t wait for our next trip!
Have a fantastic weekend!
