As part of our nurture afternoon this week, Room 3 have been hard at work learning about our emotions and how these can be shown through behaviours. We found that we are very good at recognising different emotions but didn’t always realise that these can be shown through our behaviour too.
To begin our lesson, we watched a clip from Inside Out and identified the emotions shown by the main character, Riley. We then used our drama skills to act out different feelings for our peers to guess. We used happy, sad, angry, disgusted and scared.

After this, we worked together to discuss a variety of ways we might feel certain emotions and put our ideas on a huge sheet of paper. This was shown at assembly as part of our nurture sharing.
