Today we had a superb S.T.E.M. event launched by the R.A.F Space education team. The Road to R.I.A.T – (Royal International Air Tattoo) involves the children becoming aerospace engineers designing 3 different types of rockets, building them, testing them out and then evaluating the performance of the rockets and themselves as scientists. Also we are working hard to design our sustainable aircraft of the future which we will submit to the R.I.A.T. education team for judging.
We have watched some amazing air shows that the Red Arrows Display Flight Team have been involved in and now we know a little more about how the pilots are able to do these awesome stunts.
