Newton Farm Primary School and Nursery Class

Room 3’s Little Lambs 🐑

This week in Room 3, we enjoyed learning and reading different books, rhymes and poems that featured a farm. On Tuesday, we listened to the nursery rhyme Mary Had a Little Lamb and had fun practising this, as well as finding the rhyming words and counting the syllables in some of the words.

As part of our Literacy learning, we put our arts and crafts skills to use on Tuesday afternoon and designed our own lambs by colouring the lambs and gluing some cotton wool on to make them fluffy. Have a look at some of our designs below.

We are also still working on our class charter and have had a chat about ways we can stay safe, learn and play in the classroom. These ideas have been added to our display.

Have a great weekend everyone!
