This week room 8 have had lots of fun practising for our sports event next week. We worked on our jumping skills for the sack race, running skills for the flat race and had lots of giggles practicing with potatoes for the egg and spoon race.

In other areas we continue to consolidate our phoneme learning, this week looking at ‘ll’ and ‘e-e’ again. We continued to work on our comprehension skills with our new reading books and wrote a wonderful piece of explanatory writing on the life cycle of a Sea Turtle.

Maths saw us carry on with multiplication. The boys and girls have been working hard on this and are picking it up very quickly.

Finally, we had lots of fun at the primary 7 Summer Fun fair. See some pictures below.
