Another busy week in Room 7…

On Monday we had lots of fun during our LimeLight Music session and created some dance moves to go along
with the songs. On Tuesday we had a great time on our Trip to Amazonia. On Wednesday we had a mini Eid celebration to round up our RME topic and got to try some food – pilau rice, onion bhajis, veg samosas, curry sauce, sparkling mango juice and some dates. We also had a listen to some traditional music whilst we ate. On Thursday we visited a new park and had lots of fun exploring the equipment- there was even some outdoor gym machines. On Friday we visted the P7 fair and enjoyed taking in part in the different games and activities.

We are currently in the process of updating our role play area and would be grateful to borrow any ‘Amazonia’ themed stuffed toys – snakes, monkeys, parrots, lizards etc. If you have anything at home you think we could use please send these in next week and we promise to take good care of them!

Reminders for next week:

  • Health week – please wear PE kit to school all week (waterproofs/sun protection if needed)
  • Sporting events – Wednesday 18th May 9:30-12pm, family spectators welcome. Healthy tuck shop will be available to make purchases
  • Outdoor Classroom Day – Thursday 19th – please make sure to bring in 3 toilet roll tubes and 1 clean tin can for our bug hotel project
