Room 21 had a brilliant day at Amazonia on Tuesday. We learned lots more about some of the rainforest animals they’ve been studying in class. We started off our day at the play area within Strathclyde Park and were really lucky not to get caught in any rain showers. Inside Amazonia, we were able to see some of the animals we had been learning about in real life and we even got to handle a corn snake named Sonic, a tortoise named Shelly and a gecko named Gordon. Despite being super excited, the children all behaved really well and were a credit to the school! I was so proud! 🤩
Here are just a few of the photos I manged to get during out trip, the rest have been posted on our Google Classroom. 😊
