Children in Need in Room 22

We have had the best day doing lots to celebrate Children in Need in Room 22!

We managed to get 10/10 in Javayria and Ress’ Pudsey Quiz! This meant we got an extra playtime this afteroon! Well done boys and girls!

We then had our Dance-a-thon! First we watched a truly inspirational clip from last nights One Show in which a boy from Glasgow, Dylan, showed us how dance has helped him cope with a rare condidtion that he suffers from. It really reminded us of the importance of Children in Need and why we raise money 😊 We then got dancing!

The boys and girls love Just Dance, especially “Waka waka”! They danced their hearts out and had so much fun! We only planned to dance for 15 mins but managed to keep going for 45! We ended with a little dance to our song of the week, “September” by Earth, Wind and Fire, it’s our new favourite song!

In the afternoon we began creating Pudsey themed stories for the P1 pupils. We started today with the front cover design. We had stories like “Pudsey goes to Glasgow”, “Pudsey goes camping “ and “Pudsey goes to the moon”. The pupils will write these stories next week and we will record ourselves reading them for the P1s to listen to 😊

We had the best day!
