Room 13 Roundup 📝

Another busy week in room 13 has come to an end. We were so busy that Miss Henderson forgot to take any pictures 😅

We have been perfecting our ball skills in P.E. and have become masters at lots of different types of passing. We also enjoyed playing some different games that involved putting our throwing and catching to the test.

In reading, we have been learning about the skill of inference. We looked at a number of different pictures and answered a variety of different questions, justifying our answers with what we could infer from the image.

In numeracy, we have continued to work on addition. We were learning to add at least 3 numbers together using different mental strategies. We also shared the strategies we used to add these numbers together.

Yesterday was national poetry day. We took part in a workshop by a poet called Simon Mole and created a poem about our dream day!

We have worked hard this term in Room 13 and I think all of them boys and girls deserve a well earned rest.

I hope you and your families have a wonderful October Week.

See you soon,

Miss Henderson
