It’s that time of year again that most of the kids love to hate….. x-country! As October rolls in, the Primary 5s are starting to prepare for the x-country season which culminates in the Camglen competition at the beginning of March. To get us started we played a game where runners had to catch the team in front whilst running around our β€˜track’. We also took part in a relay where teams had to decide on their strengths; who was better at short fast bursts and who had more stamina for the longer runs.

Fist of 5 at the end of the lesson revealed who felt they had worked hard. They all came back to class with red faces and a smile πŸ˜ƒ
