Newton Farm Primary School and Nursery Class

Room 23 – Primary 7

Another busy week in Room 23!

In Maths and Numeracy we revised time and converting measure.

We made Picasso inspired clay faces making sure each feature looked like it was being observed from a different angle. We know this is called Cubism.

In Literacy we created a music playlist that reflects how the main character in our novel Marinka is feeling so far. We also carried on with our narrative block of writing and oh my goodness. Have a look at the video below. Have you ever heard a classroom like it?! The children couldn’t wait to get started! Their task was to carry on a story and work out who the character was and if they would escape from the dark room they were in. The creativity from the children was out of this world. Proud teacher moment ❤️

If you haven’t already please have a look at the ‘Meet the Teacher’ video on your child’s Google Classroom.

Have a lovely weekend!
