World Maths Day in Room 5

The children in Room 5 were very excited to celebrate World Maths Day on Wednesday.  Mrs Webber set us a challenge to show how Maths and Art can intertwine.  In the morning the children investigated 2D shape and played a game with their desk partner.  Then they used their knowledge of 2D shape to design a shape castle. I’m sure you’ll agree that their designs are creative and make great use of 2D shape.

We rounded off the day with done mental maths games, including our favourite…BINGO!
