The boys and girls in Room 20 are having so much fun being back in school in real life! They have all settled in very well and are enjoying learning with each other again.
We absolutely love art in Room 20 and enjoy developing our skills đŸ˜€
It was clear when we returned to class that we needed to bring a springtime theme into our room (Miss Stark had only just taken down the Christmas tree after all!). So we discussed what themes and objects we relate to Springtime, things like bunnies, lambs, chocolate, flowers, pastel colours etc. We then decided to pick two main themes, bunnies and bright/pastel colours. Then using the visual elements of colour and line we created our own “Bunny Art”. We sketched our bunny shapes and then added pattern and detail using pen. We then choose a medium (paint, pen, watercolour) to add colour to our background.
We are so pleased how they turned out! đŸ˜€
