Newton Farm Primary School and Nursery Class

Room 7 Recap

Today we reflected on our learning from the week and chose 2 activities that we particularly enjoyed.

As part of our Phonological Awareness programme we were looking at different rhyming words, we then used this knowledge to create our own versions of the popular Humpty Dumpty rhyme. They turned out super funny!

We also started to learn about Moby the Monster and his friends. These special monsters help us with our looking and listening skills. We need to use these skills to help us as we learn. This week we were introduced to Moby and his dog Woof along with his monster friend Looking Luke. We are so excited to meet the rest of the monster crew!

Please feel free to leave a comment below which the boys and girls would love to read next week 🙂

  1. Callum enjoyed telling us all about what happened to Humpty Dumpty and we practiced the rhyme.
He also told us how much fun he had learning about the monsters, Looking Luke and Moby and Woof and how they help us each day😁
