Lendrick Muir Day 2

| 1 Comment

Day 2 starts with reflection about our identity and our boundaries when doing activities. We spoke about our comfort, stretch and panic zones when out at the different activities. We thought about when to push ourselves during challenges and the zone we should challenge ourselves to get to is the stretch zone as it is alright to be out of our comfort zones when trying new things.

With that on our minds, we headed out to start our activities. Each group have got 9 activities to complete throughout the week. These are;

  • Trial Biking
  • Archery
  • King Swing
  • Bouldering
  • Tree Climbing
  • Foot Golf
  • Walk to Gorge
  • Orienteering
  • Bushcraft.

Here are different photos of the groups throughout their day. They definetely went to their stretch zone for some of these activities and everyone has been giving the activities 100% effort.

We had some time before our evening activity, this gave us a chance to have a think about the different emotions we have felt while being away. We will be filling out a diary every night to recap what we have done and how we felt.

For our evening activity, we participated in a murder mystery. Lord Mobray had been murdered and we had to work in groups to solve his murder! We interviewed the members of the household before coming to the conclusion of who we thought we should convict! From our excellent detective skills we managed to work out who the murderer was!

Another amazing day in Lendrick Muir! We managed to get so much crammed into one day! So excited to see what tomorrow brings!
