Happy Hogmanay!

Happy New Year!

Room 10 have been learning all about the tradition of Hogmanay. First, we cleaned and organised our room to mark a fresh new start. Then, we had a countdown from 10, to welcome in the new year. Next, a first footer offered some coal and shortbread before we gathered together to sing Auld Lang Syne. Did you know that Auld Lang Syne is the third most sung song in the world? Can you guess what number one is? Finally, we watched a recording of Edinburgh’s world famous Hogmanay fireworks. What a lot of tradition! We Scots sure know how to host a party!
