Christmas Cooking in Room 15

This week we have been busy cooking in Room 15.  We have made and decorated Gingerbread Men.  We also made some delicious mince pies.   The other classes and staff commented on how lovely the smells were coming from our room and this is really getting us all in the mood for Christmas.

These activities have helped us to work together, share resources and to develop the skill of waiting.  We also spoke about waiting at assembly this week, something that is really tricky for us all at this time of year (12 more sleeps!).

We enjoy eating snack together and the social aspect of eating together.  Some of us had never tried mince pies before but after trying them together we found that most of us loved them!

We have our final performance tomorrow of our Christmas Show at 9.30am – tickets still available from the school office!  Well done to all of Room 15 and Room 12 who have been performing so well together.

Reminder – it is our Christmas Party tomorrow (Friday 13th Dec).  Pupils are welcome to bring in some party clothes and staff can help pupils to change at lunchtime ready for our party!
