It’s all in the Setting!

This week the boys and girls in Room 13 have been looking at how we can describe the setting of a story. The pupils were tasked with using their senses to describe a particular setting. In pairs, the pupils were given a picture and were asked to come up with as much vocabulary as they could to describe the setting. They were amazing! Some of the vocabulary the pupils used were so interesting. Some children have even begun to write a story based on their setting. I can’t wait to see how they use these skills in their story writing next week.
