Thank you to everyone who came along on Thursday night to our Christmas Fayre. I hope you had a great night browsing all the stalls and purchasing some early Christmas treats. Room 4 made some beautiful Christmas tree decorations and the boys and girls were so proud to show them off.
Yesterday at Newton Farm was ‘Wear it Bright’ day. Everyone looked amazing in their neon and bright clothes to highlight the importance of wearing bright clothes now that the nights are drawing in quicker.
After break the whole school attended an assembly, where one pupil from each class was crowned as the best dressed. Well done to Nathan in our class who looked fantastic in his extra bright outfit.
The boys and girls also got to meet Road Safety Simone who was dressed up in a costume displaying different road signs. The children had a great day and thank you for helping them with their amazing, bright outfits.
On Thursday 5th December, the children will attend the panto. Could you please make sure that your child has a packed lunch on this day, including a small bottle of water, in a carrier bag with their name on it. We are taking our packed lunches with us to eat while we are out of school.
It is getting closer to our Primary 1 Nativity. The children have been working hard on learning the songs and their lines at home which is greatly appreciated. If you have not already sent in your child’s costume then it would be helpful to have those this week in order to give the children the opportunity to practise their Nativity part in costume before the big day. Thank you for your continued support and we can’t wait to see you all then.
