Room 15 have a very busy week ahead! We have our final Judo taster session on Monday with our friends from Hamilton Judo. We are also about to start work on our enterprise focus for the Christmas Fayre. Watch this space for a sneaky peek at our creations.
We are enjoying learning in Room 15 and have been working more on developing our skills as a team to support each other. We have been outside in the MUGA playing unusual games and activities that we had to work together to achieve success! We have also been learning some games that can be played at home with household items such as cotton wool football! Ask us for a game at home and we can teach you the rules!
This week we will be working collaboratively when building dens in the classroom that we can use for reading. We will also be looking at creative ways to communicate from one den to another! Ask your child later in the week for more details.
Our Maths focus continues to be on money and the addition of money calculations. Our literacy focus is on sequencing and sentence level work. We have been looking at a story in class by Anthony Browne called ‘Willy the Champ’. We are very proud of the art work we created last week – picture to follow when Mr Lynn learns how to do this! We will continue this week to look at this story and how Willy perseveres even when he finds things tricky!
Please also find below a copy of the homework grid for the remainder of November. I know sometimes the bag monsters eat the homework in Room 15!
Thanks for your continued support.
