Hi everyone!

This week we have been learning lots of new skills. Here is a list of what we have been up to:

. We learned to identify the theme/main idea in a text.

. We learned that zero is a place holder and got to tell friends.

. We learned to visualise a character by using a diagram to explain our thoughts.

. We all created useful objects out of shapes.

. We all learned to round money to the nearest pound.

. We learned to estimate length by using a ruler cm.

. We were working on the structures of a paragraphs.

. We finished our book Journey. It is a picture book which we thought was for much younger children at the beginning but it definitely isn’t. There is so many hidden meanings in the book.

. We used article 13 and 31 of children’s rights. 13 is (Sharing thoughts freely – we done this through group work) and number 31 is (rest, play and culture, arts- we created our own games in groups which was inspired by Journey.)

Have a great weekend
