We had so much fun during Maths Week Scotland, that we’ve decided to keep it going for the next few weeks!
Room 9 were were making money trees in order to familarise themselves with the shapes and patterns of coins. They also had a look through the Argos catalogue to appreciate that things cost money – a very important skills for life, learning and work!
Room 2 were working hard to identify coins and they were using money in a real life situation when they set up a little shop in the classroom. What a fun way to learn about money!
I’m glad you have been looking at money and talking about the value of things. Matthew really does think money grows on trees so I did have a wee giggle when I seen this. Keep up the good work.
Great to see the children learning about money and it’s value …well done room 2.
