Victorian Inspired Art

Today in Room 16 we learnt about William Morris, a British textile designer, famous during the Victorian era. He designed wallpapers for people’s homes to make them feel closer nature. He created his designs through printing.

We worked in groups to design our own wallpaper samples inspired by Morris’ technique of printing and nature. They turned out so well! Great work Room 16 🙂
