Reasons to be Grateful

All year in class we have been thinking about how important it is to focus on the positive things in our lives that happen…what we can do, instead of what we can’t.

We have a gratitude jar. Pupils have had the opportunity to write anything they are thankful for and pop it into the jar, e.g. being able to read a story to their sibling, being thankful for a kind and loving family, going on exciting holidays or day trips. Here they are with a few of the comments they wrote. This is a nice idea and something that can easily be created for your own family home.

I am very grateful for having the chance to spend my days with your children. I am very lucky to have a job I love.          Mrs Morrison
