Consultation with other services
Advice and consultation with link services is offered within the forums of Staged Intervention and Inclusion Meetings (SIIM) and Learning Community – Joint Support Teams (LC-JST). Case discussion can take place within these forums.
Consultation with Communication And Regulation Inclusion Support Service (CARISS)
In addition to discussion at local area support forums, there are colleagues who can provide consultation and advice as part of the locality based support model.
Inclusion Support and Development Group
Inclusion Support and Development Groups (SDGs) are opportunities for staff to meet, share good practice and discuss pertinent issues around supporting children with additional support needs, with a particular emphasis on creating a language and communication friendly learning environment (LCFE) that enhances and promotes inclusion. The groups are run jointly by Glasgow Educational Psychology Service (GEPS) and Speech and Language Therapy Service (SLT).
