The teachers set up a \u2018<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">task chart\u2019<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0of activities as an introduction each Monday. Children and families have the flexibility to complete lessons and assessment across the week to suit their individual circumstances. A \u2018<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">learning log<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2019 is then completed by each child to reflect the \u2018task chart\u2019 contents. This \u2018learning log\u2019 is a\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Microsoft Form<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0which provides a useful report for teachers and SMT to analyse in terms of planning for the following week and Google Classroom engagement.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Any children who have not engaged are then flagged up to SMT.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0will entail a cross-reference with a school\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Google Classroom usage report<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0which we receive weekly from\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">our Google Classroom Administrator<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0showing who has logged in and the volume of activity for each child in the school.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Class teachers are consulted by SMT and a decision is then made to\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">contact<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0those families via\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Groupcall<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0\u2013 a generic \u2018<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">W<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e\u2019ve noticed your child has had minimal engagement with their Google Classroom content this week. Please contact the school if there is anything we can do to support\u2026\u2019 type communication. For the most pa<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">r<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">t, this is sufficient for the families to re-engage or let the school know in which ways they require support.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The next level<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0up<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0of contact would be a phone call from a member of the SMT. This personal touch is sometimes necessary and beneficial to reassure families and agree a more personalised support strategy for their child.
