This means you are doing it because you want to, and no one is forcing you to do it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is not done for financial gain. Volunteering is not a job and you cannot be paid; however, you may have any reasonable expenses covered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is for the benefit of the community, society at large or an individual<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why you might want to volunteer?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gain new skills and experience that will look great on your CV and could help you at school and\/or work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet new people and make new friends and connections<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make a difference to individual people, communities and the environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have fun! A Group Administration function has been developed&nbsp;to help you support your young volunteers gain the recognition they deserve.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Group Administration?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A Group Administrator account&nbsp;allows all volunteer involving&nbsp;organisations (VIOs) and schools to&nbsp;request&nbsp;and print&nbsp;Saltire Awards certificates&nbsp;on behalf of the young people they support.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why use Group Administration?&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Request Saltire Awards certificates on behalf of the young people you support\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Easy way to manage certificate requests\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have PDF copies of certificates to share with young person and save to file\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be able to print certificates as and when required\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure your young volunteers are recognised and celebrated for all the great things they do\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you become a Group Administrator&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a few things to think about&nbsp;before you become a group administrator.&nbsp;
