Higher candidates,<\/h3>\n

As you know there are 2 exams papers:<\/p>\n

The first is Reading for Understanding, Analysis and Evaluation which lasts for 1 hour and a half and is worth 30%\u00a0 and the next is Critical Reading which also lasts for an hour and a half and is worth 40%.<\/p>\n

As well as this you will complete a Writing Portfolio – 2 short essays (1000 words each) which will be submitted to the SQA before the exam and are worth 30%<\/p>\n
