He showed us his radio phone &#8211; it has a special red button that he can press if he is in danger to call all the other policemen in the area to help him. \u00a0He phoned a friend -PC Cairns and we all said hello to him<\/p>\n<p>He showed us his baton -none of us knew what it was! Lara thought it looked quite like a bicycle pump. John explained that it was used to control or frighten baddies. \u00a0Lucas asked him where his gun was and John told us that only Special Policemen in Scotland carry guns. \u00a0Max told John that the Police in the airport are allowed to carry guns. \u00a0John was impressed that Max had noticed this.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/milngavienursery\/files\/2016\/03\/IMG_03861.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-459\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/milngavienursery\/files\/2016\/03\/IMG_03861-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0386[1]\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/milngavienursery\/files\/2016\/03\/IMG_03891-e1458823053846.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-460\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/milngavienursery\/files\/2016\/03\/IMG_03891-e1458823053846-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0389[1]\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>John also showed us his handcuffs -we all knew what these were. John said there were two kinds &#8211; one with chains between and others with a bar in between the cuffs. \u00a0 He asked the children what they felt like &#8211; they said &#8220;They&#8217;re not comfy&#8221; \u00a0and &#8220;Too tight!
