Sorry – no pictures – computer is on strike again! \u00a0Today in Nursery Angelina Ballerina, Buzz Lightyear, Cinderella, Matilda, Sir Scallywag, a fierce dinosaur, The Gruffalo, A beautiful Pink Unicorn, Spiderman and the Little old woman from A Squash and A Squeeze came to visit. \u00a0We enjoyed lots of amazing stories. \u00a0We discovered that books can take us to exciting \u00a0places without having to leave our chairs. \u00a0 They can be happy and sad- some have pictures – some don’t. \u00a0Books are good at making us think and making us use our imaginations.<\/p>\n
Angelina Ballerina brought her book which showed all her dance \u00a0moves and we all had a go at a bit of ballet. \u00a0Sir Scallywag brought an amazing book called Sir Scallywag and the Golden Underpants by Giles Andreae, illustrated by Korky Paul (the illustrator of the Winnie the Witch books)! \u00a0We will definitely be buying this book for Nursery – it was brilliant and it made us all laugh!<\/p>\n
Matilda told us all about the wicked Miss Trunchbull who put the children in \u00a0her school in “chokey”. \u00a0We are very glad she doesn’t work at our nursery!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
