All ELCC places are allocated by East Dunbartonshire Council\u2019s Early Years Department Admissions Panel, in accordance with the Council\u2019s Admission Policy.<\/p>\n
We offer a two year placement in our Early Learning and Childcare Centre (ELCC) setting:\u00a0 Children can begin in the term following their third birthday. \u00a0We have a full curriculum developing a child\u2019s educational requirements over two years, covering all eight key aspects of learning outlined in the Scottish Executive\u2019s Curriculum for Excellence.<\/p>\n
Places can be provided either in a local authority nursery or with a recognised provider in the private and voluntary sector who have been accepted onto East Dunbartonshire Council\u2019s framework to provide pre-school education.<\/p>\n
For administration purposes, parents are asked to complete an online registration form on the Council\u2019s website at www.eastdunbarton.gov.uk<\/a> in January. Relevant birth certificate(s) and proof of residency are required when enrolling child(ren) if they are East Dunbartonshire residents.\u00a0 Parents who reside outwith East Dunbartonshire do not require proof of residency.
