{"id":1711,"date":"2016-11-20T20:35:05","date_gmt":"2016-11-20T20:35:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/milngavienursery\/?p=1711"},"modified":"2016-11-20T20:35:05","modified_gmt":"2016-11-20T20:35:05","slug":"outdoor-painting-and-mark-making-with-paint-mess-free","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/milngavienursery\/2016\/11\/20\/outdoor-painting-and-mark-making-with-paint-mess-free\/","title":{"rendered":"Outdoor painting and mark making with paint &#8211; mess free!!!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eileen &#8211; a keen fan of pinterest &#8211; came up with a very different way to make marks and paint outdoors today. \u00a0She put poster paint into polypockets and taped them to the table. \u00a0She asked the children what colours they wanted to try. \u00a0The children quickly found out that light colours seemed to work better than the dark ones, so we tried putting white paper under the polypockets. \u00a0This helped a bit with the darker colours, but it didn&#8217;t work at all well with the white paint. \u00a0We then tried bright blue paper underneath and this was pretty effective. \u00a0The paint felt quite squidgy through the plastic.
