{"id":1598,"date":"2016-11-08T11:55:12","date_gmt":"2016-11-08T11:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/milngavienursery\/?p=1598"},"modified":"2016-11-08T11:55:12","modified_gmt":"2016-11-08T11:55:12","slug":"mr-colpi-visits-our-nursery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/milngavienursery\/2016\/11\/08\/mr-colpi-visits-our-nursery\/","title":{"rendered":"Mr Colpi visits our Nursery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we had a very popular visitor to Nursery. \u00a0Mr Martin Colpi came to tell us all about how he makes his wonderful ice cream that he sells in his Ice Cream Shop in Main St, Milngavie. \u00a0He told us that the shop has been there for 88 years &#8211; it was started by his grandfather and has been a family business since then. \u00a0We all sat and listened very carefully as Mr Colpi told us the main ingredients of Ice Cream. \u00a0The main ingredient is something very healthy &#8211; and it comes from cows! \u00a0Mr Colpi brought a picture of a farmer and a milk churn and a cow to give us a clue! \u00a0He told us how the milk is heated up and then mixed with some other ingredients and then the mixture is frozen in a special ice cream machine to make delicious ice cream!
