Music
The voice is a musical instrument too and is implemented through the experiences and outcomes of the Curriculum for Excellence:
I have the freedom to use my voice, musical instruments and music technology to discover and enjoy playing with sound and rhythm. EXA 0-17a |
Another exciting way that we express ourselves using our voice is through beatboxing. This is something that we can use in the classroom as future educators, as an alternative way to singing- as beatboxing allows for a variety of sounds to be created.
Watching the video by Tom Thum , showed me the true power of the voice and how it is a creative tool not be to disregarded. (TedxSydney, 2013)
