{"id":447,"date":"2020-09-16T20:46:14","date_gmt":"2020-09-16T20:46:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/lfsblog\/?p=447"},"modified":"2020-09-16T20:46:14","modified_gmt":"2020-09-16T20:46:14","slug":"new-teaching-learning-outdoors-course-goes-live","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/lfsblog\/2020\/09\/16\/new-teaching-learning-outdoors-course-goes-live\/","title":{"rendered":"New Teaching Learning Outdoors course goes live"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Education Scotland is pleased to announce the launch today of the <em>Teaching Learning Outdoors<\/em> professional learning course.\u00a0 This course and associated guidance \u2013 relevant to teachers from all sectors- has been developed by SAPOE (Scottish Advisory Panel for Outdoor Education) and benefited from \u00a317,250 of Scottish Government funding aimed at supporting outdoor learning. This has allowed this course to be made available, free of charge, to practitioners across Scotland through <a href=\"https:\/\/professionallearning.education.gov.scot\/learn\/learning-activities\/teaching-learning-outdoors\/step-1\/\">the Professional Learning and Leadership platform<\/a> on the Education Scotland website.<\/p>\n<p>It has never been more important to get our children and young people learning outdoors.
