To begin our morning staff welcomed families to the event. Staff were giving out free dog poo bags to the community. Julie read the story \u2018The Life of a Little Plastic Bottle\u2019 before we all headed out onto the beach to begin our clean up mission. Throughout the morning \u2018Cycling Without Age\u2019 provided rides along the sea front. Beat the Street provided a bonus beat box for our event and the children loved receiving some goodies during the event. To end the morning children selected a piece of fruit from our donation basket from Morrisons and also visited Beachcombers to receive a free ice cream for all their hard work \ud83d\ude03.<\/p>\n

We would like to thank all our families who came out this morning to support us with our beach clean – what a wonderful turnout it was.<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf1f Streetscene who provided us with litter pickers, bags and vests.<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf1fBeat the Street Active Nation representatives who came out and kindly brought lots of freebies for the children as well as raffle prizes.<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf1f Councillor Alan David Hill for coming along to support our beach clean.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the support is very much appreciated. A special thanks and well done to all our children for working so hard this morning to make sure our Largs beach is clean and safe \u267b\ufe0f. <\/span><\/p>\n
