{"id":73,"date":"2024-08-05T12:55:23","date_gmt":"2024-08-05T11:55:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/largsearlyyears\/?page_id=73"},"modified":"2025-10-15T17:08:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-15T16:08:11","slug":"digital","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/largsearlyyears\/learning-initiatives\/digital\/","title":{"rendered":"Digital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>What is Digital Learning?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Digital Learning is the ability and skill to find, evaluate, utilise, share, and create content using information technologies and the Internet.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some examples of how we develop Digital Play in the centre:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Playing with Walkie Talkies (Working with a friend to take turns to say the number before or after to support numeracy development. Further develop role-play communication)<\/li>\n<li>YouTube (We will often use \u2018Sticky Kids\u2019 &amp; \u2018Cosmic Kids Yoga\u2019 to support children to move their body in different ways and follow along to instructions.
