This <span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">includes, information on <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">what each topic is, ways to <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">support this at nursery and <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">at home and visual prompts for <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">children to understand <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">more effectively. <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">Additionally, activities and <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">opportunities for staff to <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">use with the children during <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">the session. Curriculum <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">links are provided to <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">interlink and support staff <\/span><span data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">and children\u2019s learning. Each month we have a different focus on one of the Eco topics to allow ourselves and the children a better understanding on how we can care for our planet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Eco Committee<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have provided the opportunity for parents and carers to visit the centre and be part of <span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">our Eco-Schools journey. Taking part in the decision making towards the Green flag and <\/span><span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">understanding how they can make a different at home with their children!<\/span> At the end of each term, we <span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">provide a meeting with the <\/span><span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">Eco committee to discuss <\/span><span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">our progress over the term <\/span><span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">and our <\/span>future plans, this <span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">also gave the opportunity <\/span><span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">for parents and carers to <\/span><span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">express their views, <\/span><span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">contribute towards our <\/span><span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">planning, and suggest new <\/span><span data-scheme-color=\"@CBFF00,2,\" data-usefontface=\"false\" data-contrast=\"none\">exciting ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you would like to join our Eco Committee, please speak to Steph (Eco-Lead)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Family Links<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-65 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/largsearlyyears\/learning-initiatives\/eco\/beach-clean\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/public\/largsearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/10681\/2024\/08\/06200621\/beach-clean-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<ul>\n<li>We hosted an Eco Stay &amp; Play for our families to join in with and learn about a range of eco topics in a fun and engaging way.<\/li>\n<li>We provide our families with an Eco home learning pack to support learning at home.<\/li>\n<li>We had a fantastic turnout for our first beach clean.
