August 2025, January 2026 &amp; April 2026 should register now at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk\/education-and-learning\/admissions-and-enrolment\/early-learning-and-childcare-enrolment?\">https:\/\/www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk\/education-and-learning\/admissions-and-enrolment\/early-learning-and-childcare-enrolment?<\/a> This will close on the 31st of January 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-294\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/public\/largsearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/10681\/2024\/08\/12173355\/Eligible-from-300x169.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/public\/largsearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/10681\/2024\/08\/12173355\/Eligible-from-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/public\/largsearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/10681\/2024\/08\/12173355\/Eligible-from-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/glowblogs\/public\/largsearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/10681\/2024\/08\/12173355\/Eligible-from.png 778w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Eligible Two Year Olds<\/u><\/strong><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\"><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For an entitled 2 place in our 2-3 room you can apply online at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk\/education-and-learning\/admissions-and-enrolment\/early-years-centre-enrolment.aspx\">https:\/\/www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk\/education-and-learning\/admissions-and-enrolment\/early-years-centre-enrolment.aspx<\/a> or by an external agency through the Named Person service (e.g. Health Visitor).<\/p>\n<p>Not all 2 year old children are eligible for funded ELC.\u00a0Your 2 year old child may be eligible if you receive one or more of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>income support<\/li>\n<li>income based job seeker&#8217;s allowance*<\/li>\n<li>income based employment and support allowance*<\/li>\n<li>incapacity benefit or severe disablement allowance<\/li>\n<li>state pension credit<\/li>\n<li>child tax credit but NOT working tax credit, with annual household income below \u00a318,725*<\/li>\n<li>both maximum Child Tax Credit and maximum Working Tax Credit with annual household income below \u00a38,717*<\/li>\n<li>support under Part 6 of the Immigration and\u00a0Asylum Act 1999<\/li>\n<li>Universal Credit \u2013 take home pay below \u00a3726 per month*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Income thresholds vary annually<\/p>\n<p>Funded ELC may be available if your 2 year old child:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>is subject to a Kinship Care Order<\/li>\n<li>is subject to\u00a0a Special Guardianship Order<\/li>\n<li>is looked after by a local council, for example &#8216;care experienced&#8217; (foster care), compulsory supervision order, North Ayrshire Child Protection Register<\/li>\n<li>has a parent who is &#8216;care experienced&#8217;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Before North Ayrshire can confirm and allocate a 2 year old place, they must carry out eligibility checks.<\/p>\n<p>If your 2 year old is eligible for a funded place, ELC will start in the term after their 2nd\u00a0birthday.<\/p>\n<p>If your child currently attends LEYC, <strong>you do not<\/strong> need to re-register for the following year, we will send out a\u00a0 pattern form for you to complete.
