Although it is important to identify where I am now, it is not enough to stop here. We need to reflect upon how we can develop the skills where we are less confident and how we can transfer the skills in which we are confident and competent.

Recognition Reflection Action
Skills already developed How will I use these How do I know (evidence)**
Group Work  I can use the skill of group work every day at uni when we are given group tasks. I can use this skill on placement when planning and taking advice from other members of staff or partaking in CPD together.  Me and my group complete tasks successfully with every single member taking part. Listening to everyone respectively, taking on constructive criticism and having a similar aim and reaching it. In Maths my group created a new numeric alphabet.
Problem Solving  I can use the skill of problem solving during TDTs and tasks. I can use this skill in my Discovering Maths elective. I can use this skill when planning lessons and solving problems in day to day life.  I use this skill mostly in maths elective where we had to figure out binary and how it relates to numbers.
Converse Confidently  I can use this skill when discussing issues in lectures, with lecturers and students alike. I can also use this skill when speaking to other individuals on a day to day basis, whether these be other professionals or children.  I know I have developed this skill as I use it every day. I feel confident when meeting new people. I tend not to stutter or get embarrassed.
Decision Making  This is an important skill which I can use to make informed and professional decisions every day. I can use this when writing essays, deciding how to present myself on social media, choosing what lessons to teach, literally every decision I make I ensure to be the best one possible.  My decision making skill is clear when I can do so under pressure or in tricky situations, successfully. I have made all social media accounts private whilst continuing to act professionally.  I try to attend all lectures and tutorials to keep my attendance at a high percentage, and to learn and broaden my knowledge.
