The first of a series of UCLA papers reviewing Scotland\u2019s approach to LGBT inclusive education, led by TIE, has been published. This paper reviews the learner engagement model in primary school. \u201cThis study demonstrates how LGBT-inclusive education can serve dual pedagogical purposes by addressing social justice education and facilitating students’ social and emotional learning during middle childhood.
