Youth Voice Toolkit: Online Launch Event<\/big><\/a><\/p>\n

This online event marks the launch of Education Scotland\u2019s new Youth Voice Toolkit which includes the downloadable Empowering Youth Voices Resource. The Toolkit will enable practitioners to implement effective approaches to support genuine consultation with children and young people, across school and community settings. Inputs from the pilot programme will demonstrate how the approach was used to successfully consult with children and young people in Forth Valley and West Lothian.<\/p>\n

Addressing Racism and Racist Incidents: New Guidance and Practice<\/big><\/a><\/p>\n

Join us for an important session introducing\u00a0new i<\/strong>nterim<\/strong>\u00a0guidance on addressing racism and racist incidents in schools<\/strong><\/a>. The guidance has been developed by the\u00a0Scottish Government<\/strong>\u00a0in collaboration with the\u00a0Racism and Racist Incidents Subgroup<\/strong>\u00a0of the\u00a0Anti-Racism in Education Programme\u00a0<\/strong>as part of the forthcoming whole-school approach to addressing racism and racist incidents.<\/p>\n

This guidance aims to support schools in\u00a0developing clear, consistent approaches<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0responding to, recording, and monitoring<\/strong>\u00a0racist incidents experienced or displayed by children and young people.<\/p>\n
