Free LGBT Inclusive Primary Book for Schools

Time for Inclusive Education are offering Scottish primary schools the opportunity to receive a free copy of The Lass and The Quine for use in classroom or library.  The Lass and The Quine, an original poem by Ashley Douglas first published in TIE’s Scots Poetry Collection, has now been developed into a children’s book. This marks a milestone as the first LGBT-inclusive children’s book published in the Scots language

Originally commissioned to support teaching about diverse families and gender stereotypes, the poem has already been used by primary schools across Scotland to enrich Scots language learning and help children to engage with LGBT Inclusive Education Learning Themes.
