Arlene from our Orkney playroom has sent you a video of her saying one of our favourite nursery rhymes, see if you can have a go at telling us your favourite rhyme and send in your videos to gw10mcardleclare@glow.sch.uk

We’ve decided to tie in this week’s home learning numeracy activities with what the children were interested in this week in the setting.

1. Can you go for a walk and count how many cars you can see that are: gorm <blue >,
2. You can add other colours if you like!
3. buidhe <yellow>
4. ‘dearg’ <red>,

Also:

• See if can find objects in your house that are dearg, gorm, buidhe, uaine, purpaidh, dubh, geal, orains, glas, donn and sort them into piles by colour.
