For example, in Art and English, you can use a variation of:<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><em>Point<\/em><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><em> Evidence<\/em><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><em> Explanation<\/em><\/h3>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Other points for organising your work:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h4>Make sure that your points are clearly stated, that your evidence links logically to your pint and that you really develop your explanation into something thoughtful and analytical.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Essays will usually be organised chronologically (meaning from beginning to the end of a subject).<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">In English, you would be expected to also include <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>context<\/strong> <\/span>if you were producing a critical essay. This may also apply to essays in Modern Studies or History<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Purpose<\/span><\/h1>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">What&#8217;s your <strong>purpose<\/strong>? (hint, it&#8217;s not just the name of Justin Beiber&#8217;s latest album!!) An essay without a clear purpose can make your points disorganised and therefore confuses the reader.<\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>If your purpose is to <strong>PERSUADE-<\/strong> you need to incorporate persuasive techniques to convince your reader<\/h2>\n<h2>\nIf your purpose is to <strong>INFORM<\/strong>&#8211; you should have facts and evidence to educate your reader (+ no bias!)<\/h2>\n<h2>\nIf your purpose is to <strong>ENTERTAIN-<\/strong> you should be including elements of creative writing<\/h2>\n<h2>\nIf your purpose is to <strong>ANALYSE-<\/strong> you should be examining and explaining your topic critically.<\/h2>\n<h2>\nIf your purpose is to <strong>EVALUATE-<\/strong> you should explain how effective\/ineffective your topic is<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some essays will follow a similar format.
