Glow Blogs provide one way to tackle e-portfolios\/profiling.<\/p>\n

A Glow Blog e-Portfolio is a blog with the e-portfolio plugin<\/strong> activated.<\/p>\n

Here is an example<\/a><\/p>\n

The process of \u00a0creating and using an ePortfolio can be summarised:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A pupil creates an ePortfolio Blog<\/li>\n
  2. The post regularly about their learning and reflections on that learning. They organise these posts using Profile Tags<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. When they need a Profile they create one from their posts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    An e-Portfolio blog consists of a series of posts. The plugin adds a new taxonomy<\/em>\u00a0Profile Tags<\/strong>, to these posts. \u00a0The profile tags help to create a profile from the posts.<\/p>\n

    Profiles are creates, edited and published from the Profiles section of the Dashboard. The process is greatly simplified from the earlier theme based profiles.<\/p>\n

    Profiles can be viewed on the blog, printed and saved to PDF.<\/p>\n

    An e-portfolio can use any theme which can be customised by pupils. This customisation will not be reflected in the pdf\u00a0or printed profile.<\/p>\n
