Update: 10 Aug 2024 mailchimp no longer lets new users add Classic Automation. As far as we understand this limits the rss to mail service to users who have used that service before. We are trying to find alternative suggestions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some sites may want to offer visitors the opportunity to get updates via email. for example a School Website may want parents to be able to signup to get the latest news.
There is not built in option to do this in Glow Blogs. You can use a third party service to provide this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0There are several service that do this. Most are paid. In the past we recommended Feedburner, this service was discontinued. We then suggested mailchimp. Unfortunately mailchimp no needs a paid account to work<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any of these systems are outwith the control of Glow. The responsibility of privacy is between the subscriber and the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new system follow.it<\/a> badges itself as a feedburner alternative. This has a free option. It can be used with Glow Blogs with a couple of caveats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
