Continuous professional learning is essential to providing high-quality ELC. Glasgow\u2019s Professional Learning Framework<\/strong> is for all staff in local authority and funded providers of ELC in Glasgow to support their continuous professional learning journey. The leadership team can also use it to keep an overview of staff development needs and support planning for development at establishment level.<\/p>\n

The framework shows how practitioners should progress through the induction<\/strong> and universal<\/strong> stages before engaging in more targeted<\/strong> training, with a continual emphasis on ensuring supports are in place to ensure the implementation<\/strong> of new skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n

INDUCTION<\/h1>\n

Training all staff should complete within 6mths of new employment within an ELC setting.<\/p>\n
