S1 Parent Maths Classes

In response to previous feedback from parents, The Maths Department run a series of Maths classes. The purpose of the classes is to give parents and carers an insight into the S1 Maths curriculum. The classes give an opportunity to receive a taster of how topics are taught. This will hopefully give parents more confidence in supporting their child at home in the same manner they are taught in class.

Class 1 (9th September 2019)

The first class takes place on Monday 9th September at 7pm. The class lasts for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. The first class will cover the topic of angles. Below is the PowerPoint used for the first class along, our consistency in Numeracy document and a breakdown of the Maths Level 3 course.

Class 2 (To be arranged)

The second class will again run for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. The second class will cover the topic of Fractions.

Class 3 (To be arranged)

The third class will again run for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. The third class will cover the topic of Algebra.
