Dr Maureen Michael (Stirling University) will lead groups through professional reading.

Participants are expected to attend each session.

Group a will be hosted at Stirling University and meet in the Colin Bell building on the following dates: 10/09/2019

Group b will be hosted at St Margaret’s Academy, Livingston and meet on the following dates:

The purpose of this reading group is to:
-bring together a group of colleagues to engage in professional discussion, dialogue and debate in relation to both literature and practice
-offer structured opportunities for professionals to focus on current literature and research relating to educational leadership practices
-enhance levels of critical engagement with literature and research in meaningful ways

 

Outcomes:
-sustainable development of networks of colleagues across the Central Scotland Partnership authorities
-enhanced ability to critically engage with current policy discourses and literature on educational leadership practices
-development of skills and techniques related to educational literacies
